Hi, I’m Georgie Westley

Hi, I’m Georgie, owner of Distinctive Features Cosmetic Tattoo and Beauty. I have extensive experience in the beauty industry, stretching over a 26 year period. I have undertaken a huge range of professionally certified training leading me to specialise now in my passion of cosmetic tattoo, tattoo removal and training.

As a professional accredited trainer, I have taught beauty therapy, makeup artistry, nail technology, hair removal, skin and science and of course cosmetic tattoo resulting in the constant development of my knowledge for all things beauty!

I make a concerted effort to keep updated with the latest trends within the industry by traveling overseas and interstate to train with the best masters of our industry.

I am a multi award-winning tattooist and This year winning the Outstanding Industry Contributor Award for ABACTA plus runner up in many brow, lip and corrections categories. I have been a finalist for the Australian Beauty Industry awards multiple times for Educator of the Year and Cosmetic Tattooist of the year winning 2020 Tattooist off the year, and with the Association of cosmetic tattoo winning 2015 advanced cosmetic tattooist of the year and 2016 the peoples choice award and runner up cosmetic tattooist of the year. This year Distinctive Features has also won the Whittlesea Business Award for Innovation and Enterprise and voted in by the local council to the Northern Business Achievement Awards also to be announced in December 2024.

I am actively involved in creating standards within our industry and am a keynote speaker in many Beauty Industry events each year.

I am one of the founders of Australian Permanent Makeup Artists Conference ‘APMAC’ and Co-Director of Goldeneye Australia and New Zealand distribution, BDR Medical Beauty Skin Care and Australian Colour Technologies.

Georgie

Georgie is the owner of Distinctive Features and specialises in cosmetic tattoo, removals and training. She has 23 years experience tattooing and has trained all of the team in her techniques. She is an award winning, fully qualified and accredited trainer, beauty therapist, tattooist, laser removals, makeup artist, nail technician.. the list goes on!

Our mission is to lead the cosmetic tattoo industry by providing affordable services at high end clinic standards, our state of the art training facilities will continue to create and provide results and all staff opportunities for growth and education in the industry.

This review won’t be long enough for me to explain how truly unique & fantastic Georgie & her team are.
I was petrified spending so much money on one course & flying all the way over from WA, could this lady really give me that much value for money?

The answer is 110 million percent. Georgie is your best friend even if you have only meet her once. I felt so comfortable & so at ease. Her training technique is flawless & elegant.

Everything is so in depth yet Georgie makes it so easy to understand. One of my favourite Georgie traits is her loving honesty, in being able to give you the truth out of nothing other than pure love for what she does & to help us succeed in the tattoo industry.

You can tell when someone is holding back and Georgie tells you everything, literally! The help and advice you give not only before and during the training but after is absolutely remarkable and to be honest I’d pay so much more.
