Hi, I’m Georgie Westley

Hi, I’m Georgie, owner of Distinctive Features Cosmetic Tattoo and Beauty. I have extensive experience in the beauty industry, stretching over a 26 year period. I have undertaken a huge range of professionally certified training leading me to specialise now in my passion of cosmetic tattoo, tattoo removal and training.

As a professional accredited trainer, I have taught beauty therapy, makeup artistry, nail technology, hair removal, skin and science and of course cosmetic tattoo resulting in the constant development of my knowledge for all things beauty!

I make a concerted effort to keep updated with the latest trends within the industry by traveling overseas and interstate to train with the best masters of our industry.

I am a multi award-winning tattooist and have been a finalist for the Australian Beauty Industry awards multiple times for Educator of the Year and Cosmetic Tattooist of the year winning 2020 Tattooist off the year, and with the Association of cosmetic tattoo winning 2015 advanced cosmetic tattooist of the year and 2016 the peoples choice award and runner up cosmetic tattooist of the year.

I am actively involved in creating standards within our industry and am a keynote speaker in many Beauty Industry events each year.

I am one of the founders of Australian Permanent Makeup Artists Conference ‘APMAC’ and Co-Director of Goldeneye Australia and New Zealand distribution, BDR Medical Beauty Skin Care and Australian Colour Technologies.

Cosmetic Tattoo is at the Heart of Our Business

We have built our business and our reputation around cosmetic tattoo.

We use two different methods of cosmetic tattooing. The first is known as Microblading and is used for ‘Hair Stroke Brows’. This technique is done by hand with a small disposable tool which has tiny needles in a row and the skin is lightly scratched into hair strokes. The pigment is pushed into the strokes to make them darker, this is the most natural technique to get the best natural looking brows.

The second method, and most popular, involves a Digital Tattoo Machine. This method is used for ‘Powder/Ombré brows, ‘Eyeliner’, ‘Lip’ and ‘Areola’ tattoos.

Georgie

Georgie is the owner of Distinctive Features and specialises in cosmetic tattoo, removals and training. She has 23 years experience tattooing and has trained all of the team in her techniques. She is an award winning, fully qualified and accredited trainer, beauty therapist, tattooist, laser removals, makeup artist, nail technician.. the list goes on!

Brooke

Brooke is a Diploma qualified Beauty Therapist, Cosmetic Tattooist and Tattoo Removalist and Accredited Trainer. Brooke has a wealth of knowledge within the beauty industry and strives to make each and every client feel great about themselves. Brooke has been a part of the team at Distinctive Features since June 2018 and specialises in skin treatments, lash and brow treatments, cosmetic tattooing and laser/non laser tattoo removal. She won the 2022 award for best combination brow tattoo at the APMAC Awards!

Payden

Payden is a qualified cosmetic tattooist, natural brow and makeup artist since 2020. She is currently finishing her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Elly Lukas beauty college. She specialises in Brows, eyeliner, lip tattoo and brow waxing, tinting, henna and lamination.

Emily

Emily is a Diploma qualified Beauty Therapist with over 8 years experience. She is one of our resident Cosmetic Tattooists with 3 years experience. During her career; she has gained extensive knowledge about the skin, the way it functions and what is needs to help achieve your ultimate result. She specialises in in paramedical skin treatments such as; AHA, BHA, Vitamin A Peels, Microdermabrasion, Skin Needling ands laser. She always strives for the best result possible, her goal is to educate you and make you feel confident in your own skin!

Tyler

Tyler is our amazing Skin Specialist! Tyler has many years experience in this field and has a wealth of knowledge in all things Skin! Tyler is extremely passionate about providing her clients with the upmost care and genuine advice for their skin concerns, a love for skin and giving you the best possible results for your skin concerns and needs. Diploma qualified and post graduate qualified in specalised treatments, Tyler loves to educate her clients about their skin and what ingredients are going to help treat their skin concerns, Tyler is trained in Carbon laser facial, Laser Genesis, Plasma skin tightening, Clinical based peels, Led light therapy, Skin Needling, Diathermy, tattoo removal and now Paramedical Scar Camouflage and Stretch mark tightening treatments. It is an amazing feeling to help someone feel confident and to love their skin!

Holly

Holly is a Diploma qualified Beauty Therapist, Cosmetic Tattooist, laser technician and removalist. She has a particular passion for all things skin and brows. Currently Holly specialises in natural lash, brow design and skin treatments. She is eager to expand her knowledge and skills! Holly is our newest Cosmetic Tattooist now specialising in Brow and Lip tattoos and paramedical scar and stretchmark camouflage.

This review won’t be long enough for me to explain how truly unique & fantastic Georgie & her team are.
I was petrified spending so much money on one course & flying all the way over from WA, could this lady really give me that much value for money?

The answer is 110 million percent. Georgie is your best friend even if you have only meet her once. I felt so comfortable & so at ease. Her training technique is flawless & elegant.

Everything is so in depth yet Georgie makes it so easy to understand. One of my favourite Georgie traits is her loving honesty, in being able to give you the truth out of nothing other than pure love for what she does & to help us succeed in the tattoo industry.
