Eyebrow Tattoo is our most popular cosmetic tattoo treatment. We welcome over 90 clients per week for a consultation and treatment.
Why does cosmetic tattoo change in the skin over time?
Treatment area, colour used, age of client and skin condition all play a large part in the longevity of your tattoo. Predominantly the darker the pigment, the more concentrated with dominant colours the pigment is, therefore the longer lasting.
Cosmetic tattoo is implanted into the very top layer of the dermis and lower layers of the epidermis where the colour can be slowly metabolised by the body. The larger the particle, the harder it is for the body to move it (hence the reason why a body tattoo or white pigment does not disappear).
Does it hurt?
Everyone has a different pain tolerance, some feel it more than others. Most clients describe it as a light scratch, with some people not feeling it at all. In all cases the result far outweighs the pain.
You MUST purchase your own numbing cream prior to your appointment. the numbing gel you need is detailed in our important information sheet in the downloads section. Please be sure to read this and follow instructions if you want a pain free treatment!

Other important information
Colour matching can be difficult at times but we endeavor to match as close to your colour needs as possible. Many things can alter the end result of the pigment colour in the skin; colour and depth of pigment, oils in your skin, sun exposure, skin care you use at home, general health and medications used and neglecting to follow home care instructions. If you suffer allergies you may like to have a patch test before going ahead with the treatment. This is done on the arm.
Healing is mild and healing time is between 6-8 weeks with normal everyday activities able to be resumed immediately. Colours are normally very harsh, dark/bright and sharp for approximately 5 days, then the tattoo should start to fade. Fading can be up to 50-80% of initial tattoo. Everything is then adjusted at the touch up 6-8 weeks later.
